Veselin Spasov is the Purchasing & Tendering Manager of SOF Connect - the operator of Sofia Airport. He brings a wealth of experience in the supply chain sector, cultivated through various roles at multinational corporations such as United Utilities and the Schwarz Gruppe, where he managed multimillion-euro portfolios and achieved various accomplishments, including the recent Gold Award at the Procurement Excellence Awards 2024.

With a unique blend of IT education and extensive expertise across all facets of the supply chain management, Mr. Spasov's role is pivotal for Sofia Airport's current need to establish a completely modern Procurement department, adhering to the latest standards and employing cutting-edge IT market technologies. Overseeing the entire investment program of the airport’s concessionaire and managing all ongoing expenses from a Procurement perspective, Veselin Spasov ensures streamlined operations and strategic procurement decisions. His participation guides the airport towards a new era of efficiency and innovation.

Mr. Spasov’s educational background includes degrees in Business Information Technologies, Business Administration, and an Executive MBA in Globalization Management.
