Prof. Dr. Karsten Machholz

Prof. Dr. Machholz has gained 25 years of experience in various leadership positions in the Chemical, Consulting, Pharma and Biotech sector, recently as a Member of the Board.

He has been appointed as Professor for Supply Chain Management and Strategic Procurement at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg Schweinfurt in 2012.

Besides this, he serves as a Chairman of the Advisory Board or Senior Advisor for various Start-Ups in the Procurement and SCM arena.

He acts as a Sustainability Ambassador, has been nominated Top 10 Procurement Influencer and co-authored the Book “How to measure performance of the purchasing function” together with Dr. Filippos Siakavaras.
