John has been a procurement professional for all his career, 40 years experience in all. He has had a variety of senior roles with a range of blue chip companies including GSK, Diageo, Heinz, Rolls-Royce Aerospace, BP and most recently as CPO at AstraZeneca. Passionate about the role the function plays across all companies, John has a proven track record of moving procurement’s agenda beyond merely cost savings and has had success in transforming the function in all the roles he has held.
