Currently serving as the Procurement Director at Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems in Greece, Mrs. Oikonomou is instrumental in ensuring the procurement of vital materials for cutting-edge energy storage solutions. Her strategic vision and meticulous approach drive operational excellence and sustainability within the organization.

Prior to her current role, Mrs. Oikonomou spent several years at Henkel, where she served as the Global Raw Materials Price Risk Manager. Stationed in Amsterdam, Netherlands, she led initiatives to assess risk mitigation tools, monitor hedging performance, and create strategic sustainable roadmaps to optimize price locking spend. Her efforts in establishing harmonized decision processes and defining key performance indicators elevated the company's procurement capabilities to new heights.

Mrs. Oikonomou's career journey also includes roles at multinational companies like ICL Group, Avery Dennison, and Holcim (Lafarge) Group, where she demonstrated her prowess in procurement strategy, market analysis, and supply chain management.

She holds an MBA from Alba Graduate Business School and a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Patras. Notably, Mrs. Oikonomou was a member of the Winning Team in the "European Business Plan of the Year 2010" competition during her MBA program, showcasing her strategic acumen and collaborative spirit.
